Alain Prost
Alain Marie Pascal Prost, OBE, Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur ist ein französischer Rennfahrer. Ein viermaliger Formel-1-Fahrer-Champion, nur Sebastian Vettel, Juan Manuel Fangio und Michael Schumacher haben seine Anzahl von Titeln erreicht oder übertroffen. Von 1987 bis 2001 hielt Prost den Rekord für die meisten Grand Prix Siege. Schumacher übertraf Prost insgesamt 51 Siege beim 2001 belgischen Grand Prix. Im Jahr 1999 erhielt Prost die World Sports Awards des Jahrhunderts in der Motorsport-Kategorie. Prost entdeckte im Alter von 14 Jahren bei einem Familienurlaub. Er ging durch die Junioren des Motorsportes und gewann die französische und europäische Formel-3-Meisterschaft, bevor er 1980 mit dem McLaren Formel-1-Team im Alter von 24 Jahren ankam. Er beendete die Punkte auf seinem Formel-1-Début in Argentinien und nahm seinen ersten Rennsieg Bei seinem Heim-Grand-Prix in Frankreich ein Jahr später, während er für das Fabrik-Renault-Team fuhr. In den 1980er und frühen 1990er Jahren bildete Prost eine heftige Rivalität vor allem mit Ayrton Senna, aber auch Nelson Piquet und Nigel Mansell.
