Kapit
Der Abschnitt Kapit umfasst den Innenraum nach dem Abschnitt Sibu. Seine Fläche beträgt 38.934 Quadratkilometer. Das Verwaltungsgebiet von Kapit umfasst die Bezirke Kapit, Belaga und Song. Diese drei Bezirke werden vom Bezirksrat von Kapit verwaltet. Die Gesamtbevölkerung unter der Verwaltung des Bezirksrates auf der Grundlage der Volkszählung von 2000 war 98.841. Die Bevölkerung von Kapit ist nur 56.709. Die Mehrheit der Bevölkerung des Kapit sind Iban, gefolgt von Chinesen und Malaien. Kapit ist bekannt für die Früchte von Dabai und Durian. Kapit Town liegt am Ufer des Flusses Rejang. Es kann mit dem Schnellbootdienst per Fluss erreicht werden. Kapit Town liegt mitten in Song und Belaga. Figur Charles Brooke gründete das Kapit Fort im Jahr 1880 als Garnisonsstadt, mit dem Ziel, die Iban-Gemeinde daran zu hindern, über den Fluss zu ziehen und anschließend die Siedlung der Orang Ulu Siedlung anzugreifen. Dann wird die Festung in Sylvia Fort oder in Verbindung mit dem Namen der Frau von Rajah Vyner Brooke umbenannt, aber die Stadt behält ihren Namen als Kapit.
