Mozetta

A Mozetta is a shoulder collar which extends above the elbow and is worn above the choral shirt for usually higher clergy of the Catholic Church. Partially, it is worn with a small hood; Bishops wear a Mozetta without a hood. Eine Mozetta ist ein bis zu den Ellenbogen reichender, über dem Chorhemd getragener Schulterkragen für in der Regel höhere Geistliche der katholischen Kirche. Teilweise wird sie mit einer kleinen Kapuze getragen; Bischöfe tragen eine Mozetta ohne Kapuze.
