Definition of additionality in the English dictionary

The definition of additionality in the dictionary is the principle that money raised by the National Lottery should only be spent on projects that would not otherwise be funded by government spending. Other definition of additionality is the principle that the EU contributes to the funding of a project in a member country provided that the member country also contributes.
