Bezique

Bezique, or Bésigue, is a 19th-century French melding and trick-taking card game for two players. The game is derived from Piquet, possibly via Marriage and Briscan, with additional scoring features, notably the peculiar liaison of the Q♠ and J♦ that is also a feature of Pinochle, Binokel, and similarly named games that vary by country.

Definition of bezique in the English dictionary

The definition of bezique in the dictionary is a card game for two or more players with tricks similar to whist but with additional points scored for honours and sequences: played with two packs with nothing below a seven. Other definition of bezique is the queen of spades and jack of diamonds declared together.
