There are two possibilities: Either the kiss is a human universal, one of the constellation of innate traits, including language and laughter, that unites us as a species, or it is an invention, like fire or wearing clothes, an idea so good that it was bound to metastasize across the globe.

WHAT DOES CONSTELLATION MEAN IN ENGLISH?

constellation

Constellation

In modern astronomy, a constellation is an internationally defined area of the celestial sphere. These areas are grouped around asterisms, which are patterns formed by prominent stars within apparent proximity to one another on Earth's night sky. When astronomers say an object is "in" a given constellation, they mean it is within the boundaries of one of these defined areas of sky. There are also numerous historical constellations not recognized by the IAU or constellations recognized in regional traditions of astronomy or astrology, such as Chinese, Hindu and Australian Aboriginal.

Definition of constellation in the English dictionary

The first definition of constellation in the dictionary is any of the 88 groups of stars as seen from the earth and the solar system, many of which were named by the ancient Greeks after animals, objects, or mythological persons. Other definition of constellation is an area on the celestial sphere containing such a group. Constellation is also a gathering of brilliant or famous people or things.
