Quiz

A quiz is a form of game or mind sport in which the players attempt to answer questions correctly. In some countries, a quiz is also a brief assessment used in education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, and/or skills. Quizzes are usually scored in points and many quizzes are designed to determine a winner from a group of participants - usually the participant with the highest score.

Definition of quiz in the English dictionary

The first definition of quiz in the dictionary is an entertainment in which the general or specific knowledge of the players is tested by a series of questions, esp as a radio or television programme. Other definition of quiz is any set of quick questions designed to test knowledge. Quiz is also an investigation by close questioning; interrogation.
