Worship asserts the reality of its object and defines its meaning by reference to it. An act of worship may be performed individually, in an informal or formal group, or by a designated leader.

Definition of worship in the English dictionary

The first definition of worship in the dictionary is to show profound religious devotion and respect to; adore or venerate. Other definition of worship is to be devoted to and full of admiration for. Worship is also to have or express feelings of profound adoration.
