The definition of cicahuite in the dictionary is a tree of the family Mimosaceae, large, sometimes up to 35 m tall, with a wide and extended crown and white flowers on dense round heads. The wood has the general appearance of mahogany, dark red or reddish brown, is moderately hard and heavy and is used for posts, ceilings and floors. En el diccionario castellano cicahuite significa árbol de la familia de las Mimosáceas, grande, a veces de hasta 35 m de altura, con copa ancha y extendida y flores blancas en cabezas redondas densas. La madera tiene la apariencia general de caoba, roja oscura o marrón rojiza, es moderadamente dura y pesada y se utiliza para postes, techos y pisos.
