Costa

The coast is the part of a continent or an island that borders with the sea or another large body of water. The coasts have an unstable landscape, where there are sectors of beach whose two-dimensional profile can grow due to the deposit of sediments and in other cases can diminish by the processes of marine erosion. But the coasts are also modified by other factors, such as climate, wind, waves, biological activity and human activities.
