History

Historia

History is the science that has as object of study the past of the humanity and like method own of the social sciences. It is also called "history" to the historical period that runs from the appearance of writing to the present. Beyond the proper meanings of historical science, "history", in the usual language, is the narration of any event, even of imaginary events and lies; Whether its purpose is deception, aesthetic pleasure or any other. On the contrary, the purpose of historical science is to ascertain the facts and processes that occurred and were developed in the past and to interpret them according to criteria of objectivity; Although the possibility of fulfillment of such purposes and the degree to which they are possible are in themselves objects of debate. In medicine the concept of clinical history is used for the recording of a patient's significant health data, which can be traced back to his birth or even to his genetic inheritance. In turn, we call history the same past, and even talk about a "natural history" in which humanity was not present.
