Justicia

Justice is the conception that every age and civilization has about the meaning of its legal norms. It is a value determined as a common good by society. It was born of the need to maintain harmony among its members. It is the set of rules and norms that establish an adequate framework for the relations between people and institutions, authorizing, prohibiting and allowing specific actions in the interaction of individuals and institutions. This set of rules has a cultural foundation and in most modern societies, a formal foundation, which intervene within the same concept and which will be explained below: • The cultural foundation is based on a broad consensus in the individuals of a society About good and bad, and other practical aspects of how relationships between people should be organized. It is assumed that in every human society, most of its members have a conception of the just, and it is considered a social virtue to act in accordance with that conception.
