Masa

Mass, in physics, is a measure of the amount of matter a body possesses. It is an intrinsic property of bodies that determines the measure of inertial mass and gravitational mass. The unit used to measure mass in the International System of Units is the kilogram. It is a scalar magnitude. It should not be confused with weight, which is a vector magnitude representing a force. Neither should it be confused with the quantity of substance, whose unity in the International System of Units is the mole.
