Referencia

The reference is a relation between certain expressions and that of which is spoken when these expressions are used. Some of the most natural candidates for expressions that refer are: ▪ Proper names, such as "Alexander the Great," "Pegasus" or "Homer." ▪ Defined descriptions, such as "the third planet from the Sun", "the winged horse" and "the present king of France" ▪ Predicates such as "quartz", "gold" and "tiger" refer to natural classes. ▪ Expressions such as "I", "you", "he", "this", "that" and "that" are called indexicals and are characterized by the fact that their referent varies depending on context . The mechanism by which an expression is capable of referring is the subject of a profound philosophical debate. Bibliographic reference is a minimum set of data that allows the identification of a publication or a part of it, for example monographs, serial publications, articles, patents and all kinds of information container. La referencia es una relación entre ciertas expresiones y aquello de lo cual se habla cuando se usan dichas expresiones.
