Sueño

Sleep is a physiological state of self-regulation and uniform rest of an organism. In contrast to the waking state - when the being is awake - sleep is characterized by low levels of physiological activity and by a minor response to external stimuli. The term "dream" designates both the act of sleeping and the desire to do so. Metaphorically, it is claimed that a part of the body has been asleep to one, when it is temporarily lost or reduced sensitivity in it.
