Teléfono

The telephone is a telecommunication device designed to transmit acoustic signals by remote electrical signals. For a long time Alexander Graham Bell was considered the inventor of the phone, along with Elisha Gray. However Graham Bell was not the inventor of this apparatus, but only the first to patent it. This happened in 1876. On June 11, 2002, the United States Congress passed Resolution 269, which recognized that the inventor of the telephone number was Antonio Meucci, who called him a telethreader, and not Alexander Graham Bell. In 1871 Meucci could only, due to economic difficulties, present a brief description of his invention, but not formalize the patent before the United States Patent Office.
