गप २ संज्ञा पुं० [अनु०]
१. वह शब्द जो झट से निगलने, किसी नाम
अथवा गीली वस्तु में घुसने या पड़ने आदि से होता है । जैसे—
(क) वह गप से मिठाई खा गया । (ख) घाव में इतनी
सलाई गप से घुस गई ।
विशेष—इस प्रकार के और अनुकरण शब्दों के समान इस शब्द
का प्रयोग भी प्रकार सूचित करने के लिये प्रायः 'से' के साथ
होता है ।
