यह भी कहा जाता है कि सतयुग में इन्होंने वामन भगवान् की
परिक्रमा की थी । इस कथा का उल्लेख रामचरितमानस
(किष्किंधा कांड, दोहा २८) में भी है; यथा—बलि बाँधत
प्रभु बाढ़ेउ सो तनु बरनि न जाय । उभय घरी महँ दीन्हीं
सात प्रदच्छिन धाय ।
