बंद करके नाक के रंध्रों को एक और से अँगूठे और दूसरी ओर से मध्यमा तथा अनामिका से दबाकर बंद कर देते है,
जिससे उसमें वायु आ जा नहीं सकती । इसे कुंभ भी कहते हैं ।
