साल भर तक खा सके ।
विशेष—मनु, याज्ञवल्क्य आदि संहितकारों के मत से प्रत्येक
व्यक्ति को अपने कुटुंब के पालन के लिये कुछ निश्चित दिनों के वास्ते अन्न संग्रह कर रखना चाहिए । इस प्रकार रखे हुए
अन्न को 'कुंभीधान्य' भी कहते हैं ।
