एक प्रकार की घास । कनकौवा ।
विशेष—इसकी पत्तियाँ चार अंगुल लंबी, तीन अंगुल चौड़ी,
ऊपर को नुकीली और धारीदार होती हैं । यह घास बरसात
में उप्तन्न होती है और बहुत कोमल तथा लसीली होती है ।
इसका साग भी बनाया जाता है और इसे पशु भी खाते हैं ।
इसके फूल नीले रंग के और छोटे छोटे होते हैं । इसकी पत्तियाँ
बेसन में लपेटकर तेल आदि में तलने से रोटी की भाँति फूल
जाती है ।
