ऐ सखि साजन ? ना सथि पानी । (ख) आप हिले औ मोहिं
हिलावे । वाका हिलना मोको भावे । हिल हिल के वह हुआ
निसंखा । ऐ सखि साजन ? ना सखि पंखा । (ग) रात समय
मेरे घर आवे । भोर भए वह घर उठ जावे । यह अचरज है
सब से न्यारा । ऐ सखि साजन ? ना सखि तारा । (घ) सारि
रैन वह मो सँग जागा । भोर भोई तव बिछुड़न लागा । बाके
बिछुड़त फाटे हिया । ऐ सखि साजन ? ना सखि दिया ।
विशेष— यह कविता प्रायः चार चरणों की होती है इसके पहले
तीन चरण ऐसे होते हैं; जिनका आशय दो जगह घट सकता है । इनसे प्रत्यक्ष रूप से जिस पदार्थ का आशय निकलता है,
चौथे चरण में किसी और पदार्थ का नाम लेकर, उससे इनकार
कर दिया जाता है । इस प्रकार मानों कही हुई बात से मुकरते
हुए कुछ और ही अभिप्राय प्रकट किया जाता है । अंमीर खुसरी
ने इस प्रकार की वहुत सी मुकरियाँ कही हैं । इसके अंत में
प्रावः 'सखी' या 'सखिया' भी कहते हैं ।
