खिलाडी़ अपने अपने दाँव पर कुछ कौड़ियाँ लगते हैं । इसके
उपरांत वह पहला खिलाड़ी अपनी मुट्ठी की कौड़ियाँ गिनकर
चार का भाग देता है । जब भाग देने पर १ कौड़ी बचे तो
नक्कीवाले की, २ बचें तो दूएवाले की, ३ बचें तो तीएवाले की और कुछ भी न बचे तो पूरवाले की जीत होती है ।
जिसकी जीत होती है दूसरी बार वही मूठ लाता है । यदि
मूठ लानेवाले का दाँव आता है तो वह दाँव पर रखी हुई
सबकी कोड़ियाँ जीत लेता है, नहीं तो जिसकी जीत होती है
उसको उसे उतनी ही कौड़ियाँ देनी पड़ती हैं जितनी उसने
दाँव पर लगाई हों ।
