रसदोष, जिसमें कवि जिस वस्तु को जैसा समझता है रचना
में उसके विरुद्ध कर जाता है । एक ही वस्तु के विषय में
ऐसी बातें कह जाना जो एक दूसरे के विरुद्ध या बेमेल हों ।
रचना में ऊटपटाँग अविचारयुक्त बातें कह जाना । उ०—
कपट कृपानी मानी, प्रेमरस लपटानी, प्राननि को गंगा जी
को पानी सम जानिए । स्वारथ निधानी परमारथ की रज-
धानी, काम की कहानी केशोदास जग मानिए । सुबरन उर-
झानी, सुधा सो सुधार मानी सकल सयानी सानी ज्ञानी सुख
दानिए । गौरा और गिरा लजानी मोहे पुनि मूढ़ प्रानी,
ऐसी बानी मेरी रानी विषु के बखानिए ।—केशव (शब्द०) ।
