विशेष—धर्मशास्त्र और आयुर्वेद के अनुसार रजोदर्शन के उपरांत
तीन दिन तक स्त्री को ब्रह्मचर्यपूर्वक रखना चाहिए, पति का
मुख न देखना चाहिए चटाई इत्यादि पर सोना चाहिए, हाथ
पर अथवा कटोरे या दोने में खाना चाहिए, आंसू न गिराना
चाहिए, नाखून न कटाना चाहिए, तेल, उबटन और काजल
न लगाना चाहिए, दिन को सोना न चाहिए, बहुत भारी शब्द
न सुनना चाहिए, हँसना और बहुत बोलना भी न चाहिए ।
चौथे दिन स्नान करके सुंदर वस्त्र और आभूषण धारण करना
और पति का मुख देखकर सब व्यवहार करना चाहिए ।
२. (स्त्री) जिसका ऋतुकाल हो । जिस (स्त्री) के रजोदर्शन के उपरांत के १६ दिन न बीते हों और गर्भाधान के
योग्य हो ।
