बौधायन धर्मसूत्र में लिखा है कि वंग, कर्लिग, पुंड्र आदि देशों
में जानेवाले को लौटने पर पुनस्तोम यज्ञ करना चाहिए ।
मनुस्मृति में तीर्थयात्रा के लिये जाने की आज्ञा है । इससे जान
