अधिक बाईं से दाहिनी ओर को बनावे । फिर उन्हीं कोष्ठों के
नीचे पहला स्थान छोड़कर दूसरे स्थान से आरंभ करके
ऊपर से एक कोष्ठ कम बनावे । इसी प्रकार उसी स्थान
से नीचे एक कोष्ठ कम बराबर बनाता जाता जाय, जब
तक एक कोष्ठ न आ जाय । इन कोष्ठों को इस प्रकार
भरे, कोष्ठों की पहली पंक्ति में बाईं ओर से सब में एक
एक का अंक लिखे । दूसरी पंक्ति के पहले कोष्ठ से आरंभ
करके क्रमशः २, ३, ४, ५, ६, आदि अंत तक लिख जाय ।
इसके अनंतर कोष्ठों की प्रथम पंक्ति के तीसरे अंक से
उत्तरोत्तर नीचे की ओर वक्रगति से अंकों को जोड़कर
अगले खानों में रखता जाय । अंतिम कोष्ठों में जो अंक
होंगे, वे लघु गुरु के हिसाब से वृत्तों के भेद सूचित करेंगे ।
