Aparabasi Ghat 【Aapravasi Ghat】 A generic term for buildings used for contract workers in Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius. It was mainly used for welcoming contract workers from India since 1834. The remains of the wharf, entrance gate, hospital, immigration bureau etc remain. In 2006, it was registered as a World Heritage (cultural heritage). Apla Bashigate. アプラバシ‐ガート【Aapravasi Ghat】 モーリシャスの首都ポートルイスにある、契約労働者のために使われてきた建造物群の総称。1834年から主にインドからの契約労働者の迎え入れに使われた。波止場・入り口の門・病院・出入国管理局などの遺構が残る。2006年、世界遺産(文化遺産)に登録された。アアプラバシガート。
