Astypalaiau [Astypalaia] "Astypalaia / Αστυπάλαια" An island floating in the southeastern part of Greece, the Aegean Sea. Italian name Stamparia Island. Located westmost among the Dodecanes Islands. The main town is Astypalaia (commonly known as hora). It originated in the city national megara colony and belonged to the Byzantine empire throughout the Middle Ages. From the 13th to the 15th century became the Republic of Venice, a fortress was built as a military key point. Subsequently, under the rule of the Ottoman Empire, returned to Italian territory from 1912 and Greek territory in 1947. アスティパレア‐とう【アスティパレア島】 《Astypalaia/Αστυπάλαια》ギリシャ南東部、エーゲ海に浮かぶ島。イタリア語名スタンパリア島。ドデカネス諸島中、最も西に位置する。主な町はアスティパレア(通称ホラ)。都市国家メガラの植民地に起源し、中世を通じてビザンチン帝国に属した。13世紀から15世紀にかけてベネチア共和国領となり、軍事上の要衝として城塞が築かれた。続いて、オスマン帝国の支配下に置かれ、1912年よりイタリア領、1947年にギリシャ領に復帰。
