Banteay Chumar 【Banteay Chhmar】 Ruins of a Buddhist temple in northwest Cambodia. Located about 150 kilometers northwest of Siem Reap, close to the Thai border. From the end of the 12 th century to the beginning of the 13 th century, Jaya Balmain VII of the Khmer dynasty was built to mourn the death of his son. It is surrounded by a ring moat \u0026 thinsp; (kanko) \u0026 thinsp; about 1600 meters east-west and about 750 meters north and south. In the central temple there is a relief depicting the figure of the king fighting, living in the royal palace, the Senju Kannon and the Hindu gods. バンテアイ‐チュマール【Banteay Chhmar】 カンボジア北西部にある仏教寺院の遺跡。シェムリアップの北西約150キロメートルに位置し、タイとの国境に近い。12世紀末から13世紀初頭にかけて、クメール王朝のジャヤバルマン7世が息子の死を弔うために建立。東西約1600メートル、南北約750メートルの環濠 (かんごう) に囲まれる。中央の寺院には、王の戦う姿や王宮内のくらし、千手観音やヒンズー教の神々を描いた浮彫が残っている。
