Banteay Samre - ruins of the Hindu temple in Angkor on the shores of Lake Tonle Sap in northern Cambodia. It is located in the east of East Bali which was former artificial water area. Early in the 12th century, it was erected by Surya Balmain II of the Khmer dynasty. Surrounded by a ring moat \u0026 thinsp; and a double surrounding wall, it has a structure similar to that of Angkor Wat connecting a shrine and a peripheral wall with a corridor. In 1992, it was registered as a World Heritage (cultural heritage) along with other remains of Angkor. バンテアイ‐サムレ【Banteay Samre】 カンボジア北部、トンレサップ湖畔のアンコールにあるヒンズー教寺院の遺跡。かつての人工水域である東バライの東に位置する。12世紀初頭、クメール王朝のスーリヤバルマン2世により建立。環濠 (かんごう) と二重の周壁に囲まれ、祠堂や周壁を回廊で結ぶアンコールワットと同様の構造をもつ。1992年、アンコールの他の遺跡とともに世界遺産(文化遺産)に登録された。
