Palamidi like 【Paramidi Fortress】 "Palamidi / Παλαμδι" Fortified fortress in the city Nafplion in the northeastern part of Peloponnese, Greece. From the end of the 17th century to the beginning of the 18th century during the Republic of Venice, it was built on a hill of 216 meters above the city's southeastern part. At the time of the Greek Independence War, the Greek forces led by General Theodoros Kotkolnis were known for continuing the basketball campaign for more than a year besieged by the Turkish army. パラミディ‐ようさい【パラミディ要塞】 《Palamidi/Παλαμδι》ギリシャ、ペロポネソス半島北東部の都市ナフプリオンにある要塞跡。ベネチア共和国時代の17世紀末から18世紀初頭にかけて、市街南東部の標高216メートルの丘の上に築かれた。ギリシャ独立戦争時に、テオドロス=コトコロニス将軍率いるギリシャ軍が、トルコ軍に包囲されて1年以上籠城を続けたことで知られる。
