Lake Eacham "A lake in the Atherton plateau in the northeastern part of Queensland, Australia. Formed by magmatic steam explosion about 12,000 years ago. It is designated as Crater Lake National Park with the neighboring Burleigh Lake. The surrounding rainforest was registered as a World Heritage (natural heritage) in 1988.
