Evesham】 England Southwest England, the town of Worcestershire. One of the tourist destinations in the Cotswold region. Located along the Avon River, it has developed as an aggregate of agricultural products from long ago. There was Evesham Abbey founded in the beginning of the 8th century, but it was closed due to the dissolution of the monastery by Henry VIII of the 16th century. At present, a part of the building including the bell tower remains. イーブシャム【Evesham】 英国イングランド南西部、ウースターシャー州の町。コッツウォルズ地方の観光地の一。エイボン川沿いに位置し、古くから農産物の集散地として発展。8世紀初頭に創設されたイーブシャム修道院があったが、16世紀のヘンリー8世による修道院解散令により閉鎖された。現在は、鐘楼をはじめとする建物の一部が残っている。
