Kernav [Kernav \u0026 # x0117;] The first capital in the medieval Lithuanian Grand Duchy. Located along the Nellis River, about 35 kilometers northwest of the present capital Vilnius. In the Paleolithic era dwellings, cemetery ruins, medieval urban ruins, in 2004 it was registered as a World Heritage (Cultural heritage) under the name "Archaeological site of Kernabe (Kernabe Cultural Reserve)". There is an archaeological history museum beside the ruins, a neo-Gothic style Kernabe cathedral built in 1920. ケルナベ【Kernavė】 中世のリトアニア大公国における最初の首都。現在の首都ビリニュスの北西約35キロメートル、ネリス川沿いに位置する。旧石器時代の住居跡や墓地遺跡、中世の都市遺跡があり、2004年に「ケルナベの考古遺跡(ケルナベ文化保護区)」の名称で世界遺産(文化遺産)に登録された。遺跡のそばに考古学歴史博物館、1920年に建造されたネオゴシック様式のケルナベ聖堂がある。
