Definition of モエラキ‐ボルダー in the Japanese dictionary
Moeraki Boulder 【Moeraki Boulders】 The rocky group on the coast of southeastern part of New Zealand South Island. It is located about 40 kilometers south of Oamaru. Many roughly spherical rocks with a diameter of 1 to 2 meters are rolling. It is thought that nodules around the Cenozoic Xioniden (mass formed by chemical aggregation of calcium carbonate in sedimentary rocks) were exposed by wave erosion.
