Election campaign by the Internet was lifted from the 23rd Upper House of Representatives election in July of the same year. ネットせんきょ‐ほう【ネット選挙法】 インターネットを使った選挙運動を認めるように改正された公職選挙法のこと。平成25年(2013)4月に成立。同年7月の第23回参議院議員通常選挙から、インターネットによる選挙運動が解禁された。
