Consistently adopted a position of pacifism, arguing non-militarization of international society and abolition of nuclear weapons. "Peace - its reality and recognition" and "politics of disarmament". さかもと‐よしかず【坂本義和】 [1927~2014]政治学者。米国ロサンゼルスの生まれ。東大教授。昭和34年(1959)雑誌「世界」掲載の論文「中立日本の防衛構想」で注目される。一貫して平和主義の立場をとり、国際社会の非軍事化と核廃絶を主張した。著「平和―その現実と認識」「軍縮の政治学」など。
