Sliven 【Sliven / Сливен】 Bulgaria Middle Eastern cities. Located in the southern foot of the Balkans. Developed as a market town along the highway in ancient Roman times. Under the rule of the Ottoman Empire, from the 17th century to the 18th century flourished in handicrafts and commerce, the country's first modern textile industry began in the 19th century. It is also known that a daughter called Haydu resisted Ottoman rule was active. In the old city there are many buildings in the period of ethnic restoration, and there is the Sinitecamni National Nature Park in the northern suburbs.
