Umiwaka Keikyuku 【Uumawaka Valley】 "Quebrada de Humahuaca" A valley extending north-south in northern Argentina, in the state of Jujuy and in the eastern part of the Andes mountain range. It was used as an important trade route in the Andes Highland from prehistoric times, including the Inca Empire. It is dotted with villages such as Marmara, Tilcara, Purmamarca where people called Koja reside. In 2003, it was registered as a World Heritage (cultural heritage) under the name of "Kebrada de Uma Rosa". ウマワカ‐けいこく【ウマワカ渓谷】 《Quebrada de Humahuaca》アルゼンチン北部、フフイ州、アンデス山脈東部にある、南北にのびる渓谷。インカ帝国をはじめ、先史時代よりアンデス高地における重要な交易路として利用された。コージャと呼ばれる人々が居住するマイマラ、ティルカラ、プルママルカなどの集落が点在する。2003年、「ケブラダ‐デ‐ウマワカ」の名で世界遺産(文化遺産)に登録された。
