알레산드리아
Alessandria is a city in the Alessandria prefecture of Piedmont, Italy. It is the center of Alessandria Prefecture. The population is 93,992. It is located at the confluence of the Tanaro and Borromida rivers, 90km southeast of Torino. It originated in the fortress built in the Lombardy city alliance in 1168 against the Holy Roman Empire Friedrich I. The name comes from Pope Alexander III at the time of 1168, and was later renamed.
