Antithrombin One of the blood coagulation inhibitors present in the blood and is a substance that neutralizes and inactivates thrombin. Antithrombin is I, II, III, IV and inhibits the production of thrombin in normal live body to prevent blood clotting. As a test for measuring antithrombin, antithrombin III is frequently used, and its normal value is 17 to 30 mg / l. Diseases with reduced antithrombin III include disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome and acute myocardial infarction, which increase with anticoagulant administration. 안티트롬빈 혈액속에 존재하는 혈액응고억제인자의 하나이고 트롬빈을 중화해서 불활성화하는 물질이다. 안티트롬빈은 I, II, III, IV가 있으며, 정상생체중에 있어서 트롬빈의 생성을 억제해 혈액응고를 일으키지 않도록 하고 있다. 안티트롬빈을 측정하는 검사로서 안티트롬빈 III이 자주 사용되고, 정상치는 17~30mg/l이다. 안티트롬빈 III이 감소하는 질환으로서는 파종성 혈관내 응고증후군, 급성 심근경색 등이 있으며, 항응고제투여에서는 증가한다.
