It is a chronic granulomatous and purulent disease caused by Blastomyces dermatitidis, an abnormal fungus, which occurs in the North American continent. In the majority of cases, lesions develop into pulmonary tuberculosis-like lesions, which later develop hematologic strains in the lungs. The most common sites of hematogenous variants are skin, subcutaneous and bone. Rarely, when the bacterium directly penetrates into the skin, lesions similar to those of the lower lobe occur, accompanied by swelling of the lymph nodes. Anthotrysin B, 2-hydroxystilbamidine, and the like. 분아진균증 이상성 진균(異狀性眞菌)인 Blastomyces dermatitidis에 의한 만성육아종성ㆍ화농성 질환으로 북미대륙에 지방병적으로 존재한다. 대다수의 사례에서 병변은 폐에 초발하여 폐결핵과 같은 병변을 만들며, 나중에 폐에서 혈행성 변종이 일어난다. 혈행성 변종의 호발부위는 피부ㆍ 피하와 뼈이다. 드물게 균이 직접 피부내로 침투되면 하감(下疳)과 같은 병변이 생기며, 소속 림프절의 종창을 동반한다. 안포테리신 B, 2-hydroxystilbamidine등으로 치료할 수 있다.
