분석화학
Analytical chemistry is the study of the chemical composition of a substance, its chemical structure, its form, and its properties. While inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry are studies of inorganic and organic compounds, respectively, analytical chemistry is not limited to any substance or reaction. Analytical chemistry is an important discipline that investigates and analyzes the properties of materials for other disciplines, and in fact has contributed greatly to the development of pure science and its applications. 분석화학이란 물질을 화학적으로 분석하여 물질의 조성, 화학적 구조, 형태 그리고 그 특성을 알아내는 학문이다. 무기화학과 유기화학이 각각 무기 화합물, 유기 화합물에 대한 학문인 반면에, 분석화학은 어떤 물질이나 반응에도 제한되지 않는다. 분석화학은 다른 학문을 위해 물질의 성질 등을 조사하고 분석하는 중요한 학문이며, 실제로 순수과학의 발전과 그 응용에 큰 공헌을 했다.
