Adrenal tumor Source Nursing Dictionary | Adrenal tumor Adrenocortical tumors include aldosteronism, Cushing's syndrome, adrenal gland syndrome, and adrenal gland tumors have pheochromocytoma. Symptoms vary depending on the hormone secreted from the tumor (aldosterone, cortisol, sex hormone, catecholamine). Diagnosis is based on clinical symptoms and endocrinological tests. The site diagnosis is performed by vascular access and radioactive isotope scans. Treatment is the main subject of surgery. 부신종양
부신피질종양에는 알도스테론증, 쿠싱 증후군, 부신성기 증후군이, 부신수질종양에는 갈색세포종이 있다. 종양에서 분비되는 호르몬(알도스테론, 코트티솔, 성 호르몬, 카테콜라민)에 따라 증상이 다르다. 진단은 임상증상과 내분비학적검사에 의한다. 부위진단은 혈관활영, 방사성동위원소스캔으로 실시한다. 치료는 수술요법이 주체이다.
