남원 대복사 철불좌상
Namwondae is a Buddhist statue in Daejon, Wangjeong-dong, Namwon-si, Jeollabuk-do. On June 23, 1973, it was designated as the tangible cultural property No. 23 of Jeollabuk-do. This Buddha was made in the Goryeo Dynasty and has a height of 103cm, a knee width of 80cm, and a shoulder width of 50cm. The face contours are close to a square, the eyes are small and the ears are long. The collar descends vertically from the left shoulder and is scattered from the breasts to reveal a broad breasts. It is less gentle with a square face, but it is soft and calm. The legs of the desk are expressed thickly by the lower body to form a stable appearance, and the wrinkles of clothes are realistic, which adds to the stereoscopic effect. 남원 대복사 철불좌상은 전라북도 남원시 왕정동, 대복사에 있는 불상이다. 1973년 6월 23일 전라북도의 유형문화재 제23호로 지정되었다. 이 불상은 고려시대에 만든 것으로 높이는 103cm, 무릎폭 80cm, 어께폭 50cm이다. 촘촘한 고수머리에 얼굴 윤곽은 사각에 가까우며, 눈은 작고 양 귀는 길게 쳐졌다. 옷깃이 왼쪽 어께에서 수직으로 내려와 젖가슴 부위에서 여미어져 가슴이 넓게 드러나 있다. 네모난 얼굴로 온화함은 덜하지만, 어께선이 부드럽고 가슴은 듬직하다. 책상다리를 한 하체를 두텁게 표현하여 안정된 모습을 이루며, 옷주름은 사실적이어서 입체감을 더해준다.
