It is a cyst that originated in the stomach of the stomach. It occurs between the thighbone and the thyroid gland. Most are found in the midgut neck near the hyoid bone in the lower Otogai, also called the median cervical cyst. Sometimes it occurs in the somnolence or hesitation. Histologically, the inner surface of the cyst wall may be recognized as a squamous epithelium that is near the mouth, and a thyroid tissue that is located in the lower part of the cyst wall. 갑상설관낭포 태생기 갑상설관에 유래하는 낭포이고 설맹공(舌盲孔)과 갑상샘 사이에 생긴다. 대부분 오토가이 하부에서 설골부근의 정중경부에서 볼수 있고 이것은 정중경낭포 median cervical cyst로도 불린다. 때로는 설근부나 주저에 생긴다. 낭포의 크기는 지름 2~3㎝의 것이 많고 피동성의 종류를 이루어 강내에는 점액성의 액체를 포함한다. 조직학적으로 낭포벽의 내면은 구강에 가까운 것은 편평상피, 하부에 위치하는 것은 성모원주상피가 많고 벽인 미입(迷入) 갑상천조직을 인정하는 수도 있다.
