Each of them is a polyneuritis due to vitamin B1 deficiency. It usually starts with paralysis, elasticity, decrease in the number of key events (loss of tendon reflexes) or disappearance of the lower extremities, and affects the upper extremities. The onset is largely subacute, and can be seen in edema of the lower limb, enlargement of the heart, murmur, diastolic blood pressure, systolic blood pressure. This symptom is common to residents with white rice stocks. It can happen if you eat a lot of carbohydrates and less vitamin B1 intake, and you can sometimes see it in the rich and not the bad years. It may be seen from an alcoholic. 각기성다발신경염 비타민 B1결핍에 따른 다발신경염이고 일반적으로는 하지의 마비, 탄력, 건반사감소(腱反射減少) 또는 소실로 시작되고 심해지면 상지에도 영향을 미친다. 발병은 대체로 아급성(亞急性)이고 하지의 부종, 심장확대, 심잡음, 확장기 혈압저하, 수축기 혈압상승 등을 볼 수 있다. 이 증상은 흰쌀을 주식으로하는 주민에게 많다. 탄수화물을 많이 섭취하고 비타민 B1섭취가 적으면 일어날 수 있는 것이고 결식시대뿐만 아니라 풍요로운 시대에도 때로는 볼 수 있다. 알코올중독자에게서 보게 되는 수도 있다.
