A general and politician dedicated to Garibaldi's Italian Risorgimento (national unification movement and independence movement). It was originally a Republican who was influenced by the Italian nationalist Martini, but as a result of the collapse of the Roman revolutionary republican government, it turned into a unified movement centered on the kingdom of Sardinia. By organizing the 'Red Shirts' to conquer Sicily and Napoli and to put Italy in the kingdom of Sardinia, it made a decisive contribution to the unification of Italy. 가리발디 이탈리아의 리소르지멘토(국가 통일 운동과 독립 운동)에 헌신한 장군이자 정치가. 원래 이탈리아 민족주의자 마치니의 영향을 받은 공화주의자였으나 로마의 혁명 공화 정부가 붕괴하자 차선책으로 사르데냐 왕국 중심의 통일 운동으로 전환하였다. ‘붉은 셔츠대’를 조직해 시칠리아와 나폴리를 정복하고 남이탈리아를 사르데냐 왕국에 바침으로써 이탈리아의 통일에 결정적인 기여를 하였다.
