Acute lucency is caused by the formation of mucus by partial or complete occlusion of the upper and lower parts of the nasolacrimal duct. Continuous inflammation caused by chronic lupus infection causes swelling and pigmentation at this site. Within this cistern, inflammatory lesions swell up and press around. To cure acute lacunitis, lacrimal drainage or vaginal anastomosis is performed. Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and trauma or hypoplasia, which cause upper and lower occlusion of the nasolacrimal duct, are also causes of anatomical abnormalities. 급성루낭염 비루관(鼻淚管)의 상, 하단 양자의 일부 또는 완전폐색에 의해 사강형성이 생김으로써 일으킨다. 만성루낭염에 의해 지속적으로 염증이 있으면 종창이 생기고 이 부위에서 페색이 생긴다. 이 사강내에서 염증병소는 부풀어 올라서 주위를 압박한다. 급성루낭염을 근치시키려면 누낭적출술, 또는 비루문합술을 행한다. 기염균으로서 포도구균, 폐렴구균이 있고 비루관의 상하단 폐색을 일으키는 외상 또 형성부전증, 해부학적 이상도 원인이 된다.
